"From Mind To Matter" Brent Nolasco & Nemo @ Toy Qube NYC
ToyQube will host a joint show on July 18th, 2009 featuring the work of NYC sculptor Nemo and PA-based Brent Nolasco. Nemo will present original sculpts, while Brent will showcase both original paintings and custom toys.
Not one to rest on past accomplishments, Brent continues to evolve and refine his painting As this sneak peek of 'To Love and Admire' shows, his new work features a watercolor effect which seems to add subtlety to his wild character.

Most of us loved cartoons as a kid and many wish that we could spend Saturday mornings glued to the TV watching them even now. Artist and curator Steven Daily has once again teamed up with Meltdown to celebrate addictive ‘toons with Gag Me with A Toon 2 which opens on next Saturday, May 2nd. This year’s large line up includes Alex Pardee, Brent Nolasco (above & after the jump), Bob Dob, Jim Mahfood, Lola, Nate Van Dyke, Tara McPherson, The Chung, Travis Louie, and more (full list).
